Bringing Your Worries to the Lord (Instead of Carrying Them Alone)
We weren’t designed to carry every fear, bill, and burden by ourselves. Bring them to the Lord, one by one.
Worry is sneaky.
It starts as one “what if…” and suddenly our mind is spinning with ten different worst-case scenarios.
We tell ourselves:
- “I’ll stop worrying once this is fixed.”
- “When things calm down, then I’ll have peace.”
But real peace doesn’t come from a life without problems.
It comes from learning to bring our issues to the Lord.
Here’s a simple way to do that today:
- Grab a piece of paper.
- Write down the top 3 things you’re worried about.
- For each one, pray something like:
“Lord, here is my worry about ________. I give this to you. Show me what my part is, and help me trust You with the rest.”
You’re not pretending the problem isn’t real.
You’re choosing not to carry it alone.
As you do this, you might still feel the weight at first — that’s normal.
But over time, your heart learns: I am not alone in this. I walk with Him.
